I am a clinical microbiologist with a masters degree in medical microbiology and a PhD in Medicine from the University of Sydney, Australia. I worked on rational bacteriophage and antibiotic combinations to combat antimicrobial resistance during my PhD. I am currently working as a Registrar in Microbiology at a tertiary care hospital laboratory in Pakistan to finish the training component of my fellowship qualification.
